Doctrinal Principles of the AFCI

La AFCI proclama que su fe se fundamenta en la totalidad de las Sagradas Escrituras,
interpreted in the light of the traditions of the Apostolic Church, the apostolic succession
historical and the teachings of the Church Fathers. It affirms, like Anglicanism,
classical, that the Old and New Testaments contain everything necessary for salvation. He recognizes the Ecumenical Creeds as normative expressions of the Christian faith: the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.

In sacramental matters, the AFCI recognizes the seven traditional sacraments: Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony. The Holy Eucharist occupies a central place in liturgical life, celebrated with reverence and a sense of Real Presence. The Book of Common Prayer is used, and other rites compatible with Anglican tradition are permitted.

AFCI doctrine also includes a strong affirmation of human rights and radical inclusion in the life of the Church: men and women are equal in dignity and ministry, LGBTQ+ people are welcome, equal marriages are celebrated, and no one is excluded from the sacraments for reasons of marital status, ethnicity, or social status.
